Follow these steps to migrate your library from Bookmory to Book Tracker.
Change Bookmory Language to English
Bookmory exports column headers in the language of the app. Book Tracker requires the export to be in English, so you need to temporarily switch Bookmory’s language before exporting.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Apps.
- Find and tap Bookmory.
- Tap Language and select English.
After the export is complete, you can switch the language back to your preferred one by following the same steps.
Export Your Bookmory Library
- Open Bookmory and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Export.
- Under File format, select Excel (xlsx).
- Save the exported file to your device.
Convert the File to CSV
The exported file is in Excel format and contains an extra row at the top that needs to be removed before importing. You can use any spreadsheet app that supports .xlsx files, such as Numbers (free on all Apple devices) or Microsoft Excel.
- Open the exported
.xlsxfile in Numbers or Excel. - Delete the first row of the spreadsheet. The column headers (Title, Authors, Translators, etc.) should now be the first row.
- Export the file as CSV:
- In Numbers: go to File → Export To → CSV, then save the file.
- In Excel: go to File → Save As and choose CSV as the file format.
Import the File into Book Tracker
With your CSV file ready, import it into Book Tracker:
- Open Book Tracker on your device.
- Navigate to Settings → Import.
- Select your CSV file and choose Bookmory as the import format.
