Follow these steps to migrate your library from Goodreads to Book Tracker.
Export Your Goodreads Library
Goodreads allows you to export your book collection in a CSV format. Here’s how to do it:
- Log in to your Goodreads account on a desktop browser.
- Open the Export page of your account.
- Click the Export Library button. Goodreads will generate a CSV file containing your book data.
- Wait for the download to complete. Save the file in an easily accessible location on your computer.
Prepare the CSV File
Goodreads exports your library in a standard CSV format, which is compatible with Book Tracker. However, double-check the following:
- Ensure the file extension is
.csv
. If not, rename it to include.csv
. - Avoid modifying the file to prevent data issues during the import.
Import the file into Book Tracker
Now, use the exported CSV file to import your Goodreads library into Book Tracker:
- Open Book Tracker on your device.
- Go to Settings > Import.
- Select Goodreads as import type and upload the CSV file you exported.
Enjoy Book Tracker!
Your Goodreads library is now successfully migrated to Book Tracker. You can start tracking your reading progress, setting goals, and organizing your books the way you like.
